I’ve been through a very difficult time the past few months, with so much pain, change and trauma. Throughout this time, my friends and family from across the world have been my strength and inspiration. I’m so grateful for friends that have helped out in so many different ways. I’ve also had a few superheroes that have literally held me up during this dark period and I wanted to thank them for it all. Collectively, you have helped me navigate and get through a very heavy period which is still ongoing. Thank you for being my superheroes.
Miss Healing – This superhero is near and dear to my heart and has been mentioned before, but I have to honour her again because she has been a source of healing for me in so many ways. She’s patient, understanding and kind and most of all she just has this calmness about her that is always healing. When I see a message from her or even talk to her over the phone, I feel instantly healed from whatever the universe has thrown at me. She’s one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met and I feel so blessed to have her in my life. Though we are distant and though we don’t talk everyday, I know she is always there to help me heal and get back on my feet and for that I love her endlessly.
Miss Light – This special soul is a superhero who has demonstrated what it means to be a good human. I’ve got so much respect and admiration for her, she’s beautiful inside and out and most importantly she radiates light and positivity. I knew from our first interaction that she was special, her energy was just so beautiful and pure. Though we are now far away from each other, I know that she is a friend that I can call on any time. She makes everything look elegant, easy and worthwhile. She’s so loving and kind but more importantly so generous and thoughtful. She’s lifted me up through the darkness with her light, she’s reminded me that no matter how dark it gets she will be there and I am so ever grateful for her super strength. Miss Light, I can’t wait for our museum adventures to continue, our chats, our healing, our brunches and our memories. I love you endlessly and hope that you always keep your light shining because it’s bright and strong and we need more of it in this world.
Miss Angel – Have you ever looked at a person and thought wow they’re gorgeous? Like there is light that radiates around them and they have a halo above their head? I’ve not gone mad, this girl is a real life angel, I mean an angel can technically still be a superhero LOL. It all started when she trusted me with her vulnerable self, it takes courage to do that and I was so honoured that she did. Since then, we’ve been each other’s rock in so many ways. I’m convinced she is an angel that was placed here on earth to remind us of all the beautiful things that exist in our lives. She’s just the most gorgeous soul and I really hope that one day soon she comes to realise her own beauty, because she is a gift to everyone and she needs to be celebrated as such. Thank you for all the love beautiful angel.
Miss Abundance – This one is super special because I’ve never met her in person but WOWZA!! Our paths crossed through a mutual friend and I just can’t believe I have a soul sister out there that is abundantly full of love, understanding, hope, joy, patience, care, grace and support. I mean this girl, she’s incredible! Though we’ve only known each other for a few months, we’ve been through a lot of deep and important times together and all I have to say is thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! She’s a miracle and this friendship was designed by a power greater than us. You have revived me in so many ways and most importantly you’ve made all my self criticism seem less critical because I now know that it’s not just me who feels this way. I can’t wait to meet you face to face and I can’t wait to conquer the future with you. You’re incredible. Just F^%king amazing. Thank you!
Miss Empath – This soul is special because she’s like a little sister to me, in fact we grew up together, before we got separated though it feels like we’ve never been apart. I feel so blessed that we got the opportunity to reunite over the past year – be it briefly because of all the disruption. She’s family and I am so grateful for her. Her heart is gentle, sensitive and empathetic and she’s wise and wonderful in so many ways. I love her so much and I am so incredibly proud of the young woman she’s become. I know times can get tough, but this is because you feel deeply and have a heart that is capable of so much love and understanding. No matter what life throws at you, don’t forget your inner hero because she’s epic and she will get you through everything. I love you and miss you and can’t wait to give you a big tight hug!
Miss Positive – Life can be shit sometimes and for some it can get realllllllllllly shitty! But this hero is like an epic superhero! Not only did she fight cancer and kick it in the butt, but she did so without losing her positivity and her optimism. If you ever want to see strength, confidence, power, optimism, joy, hope, courage, perseverance, determination and resilience, all you have to do is cross paths with her. I mean I have so much admiration for her and feel so blessed that she is still here to grace us all with the love and kindness she has to offer. You are a god damn gorgeous superhero – never forget how amazingly capable you are and how much you inspire those around you.
Miss Fearless – This soul inspires me because of her attitude towards life and decisions. She is brave, she is reliable, chilled, supportive and an incredible sounding board. She is just the most amazing person to be around and in fact anyone and everyone enjoys her company because she just has that ability to mesh with all sorts of personalities and perspectives. I admire her free spirit, her fearless approach to life, she reminds me of all the possibilities that I can have if only I could climb over my own fears. She’s awesome and she’s been through a whole lot herself recently. I’m proud of you and cherish your friendship. Thank you for being who you are and for tackling life the way you do. Whether you realise it or not, you make things look easy and that gives me inspiration. So I appreciate that and I appreciate you always putting out the fires in my head because I get scared. Thank you ❤
