Every so often you cross paths with some incredible human beings. People who expand your perspective on life, who make you feel alive and who bring out so much energy and optimism in you. When you cross paths with gems like this, pay attention to everything they are showing you.
Very recently I crossed paths with an incredible human who I’ve only recently met and I can already tell that he will open up my mind and heart to so many things I’ve never considered before. I met him face to face yesterday and was so high on the prospect of growth that I called my best friend saying I don’t know what to do with all this energy. I was talking about how uncomfortable I feel from all the buzz and she said it sounds like you are happy and excited, why not just enjoy it?
Though for most this would be obvious, to me it felt foreign. I realised through my response that I don’t know how to sit with this much energy. I’m used to being mellow and operating at a lower vibration, so it’s no surprise that I don’t know how to handle a high dose of positive energy.
There is so much energy around us which I’ve never really noticed. Until I started paying attention to myself, my body and my surrounding. The energy around us determines the energy we also give out into the world. Even more importantly, our thoughts can determine the type of energy we radiate out. If they’re heavy, dark and or skeptical, we will be weighed down and we will no doubt bring others down too. But if they’re beautiful, bright and optimistic then we can help uplift others too.
When was the last time you met someone and felt excited? Where you were in awe of their way of being in the world? I wonder if we’ve become so fearful of each other that we are slowly losing touch with how much awe and wonder can exist between us. We all have so much to give, but we may not know ourselves well enough to know what gifts we hide within us. Those of us who are able to operate at a high vibration will come into our lives and help remind us of our own capacity. So when they do, it’s important we pay close attention to them.
