Over the past couple of weeks I have posted Sunday Prayer’s and I have to say I enjoyed this process. Using this space and time to create vibrations that are energising, hopeful and optimistic helps shift the gears in my thinking and also allows my heart to be opened. For anyone who doesn’t believe in a higher power, use these words to set your intentions and to help yourself find peace and contentment for the week ahead.
Here is another Sunday prayer:
I pray that this week I am able to stay focused, to not react to the pains that arise from past wounds, but instead to find peace in my moments by focusing on how I can make the most of them.
I pray that I practice more gratitude and pay attention to the blessings I have in my life, instead of all the obstacles and challenges that I’m trying to work through.
I pray that I can take deep breaths and to prioritise my health over all else. That I take care of my mind by taking care of my thoughts and take care of my body by being conscious about what I consume.
I pray that I can help bring joy and goodness to others, even if they are small gestures.
I pray that I can let go of the stressors that are harbouring themselves in my body and that I can close down some of the tabs in my brain that prevent me from finding my daily calm.
I pray that I am not rushing through every moment because of my to do list, instead, that I’m focusing in on all the beautiful moments that present themselves to me.
I pray that I don’t judge others for how they are and where they are at in their journey, instead, that I am compassionate towards their flaws and blindspots.
I pray that I remember to be kind, to everyone including myself.
I pray for forgiveness and patience, for laughter and joy.
I pray for connection.
I pray that this week my mental health will be better and that I can get through my days with more balance and energy.
Love Always,
M
