This post will be my 200th’ post since I started this blog around 6 years ago! I remember there was this need in me to start writing, there was a desire to just get going even if I didn’t know what the long-term vision was.
I’m still unravelling layers of myself to better understand what Souloom™ means to me and what I want to do with it. What I do know is that it has been such an important personal outlet for how I processed some of the most important lessons in my life over the past 6 years.
Souloom™ is a work in progress, just like I am. It is evolving gradually and I can’t wait to see what it becomes. Whether it is big or small, the success of Souloom™ doesn’t lie in the outward validation of the blog. Sure that is one measure, but I’m more interested in how it expresses my growth. The success of Souloom™ is defined by what it enables within me.
Anything extra is the cherry on top, it’s the interactions of journey’s that need to cross paths. I hope whomever crosses paths with Souloom™ and the writings here gains a small piece of wonder that enables them in their own precious Soul Journey.
Here is this week’s Sunday Prayer, that I hope will help you find your serenity as you go about your week.
I pray for the moments that create a sense of peace, when all else is chaos.
I pray for the opportunity to break down the layers of my ego so that I can tap into the eternal source of love that we all have within us.
I pray that this week I can step into a space of confidence, a position of calm and an attitude of ‘I can do this’.
I pray that I will honour my boundaries and my own needs, that I maintain my priorities and that I don’t get trapped in the expectations that are set upon me.
I pray to cross paths with high vibrations and energised people who are in touch with their own sense of being.
I pray for another wonderful week, full of ups and downs, high’s and lows and good and bad. Let it all come and let me observe and let it go.
