This morning the sun is hiding behind the clouds and although it doesn’t look like spring, you can see the trees budding and coming back into life. There is so much that can be learnt by observing trees, no matter the season they have much wisdom to share. At present they are reminding me that in order to grow, you have to let go and that with each season comes a new purpose.
The below quote opened up so much reflection:
Nature is always moving in the direction of greater flow and ease and because you are nature, you are being guided in much the same way.

To me this is a powerful statement, as it is a reminder that any resistance and or challenge we experience in our lives, we can intensify the experience through the narratives that we apply to it. If we accept that which life and nature has intended for us, then perhaps we can stay in the state of flow and ease. This doesn’t take away the pain that comes with many of life experiences, but it can help us navigate those experiences with more wisdom.
I personally struggle to find that flow and ease let alone stay in it. But that’s only because of the overactive mind I have and my level of disconnect with my body. On my Soul Journey I know that I often undergo the change of seasons in one day, I go through moments where awareness and many more moments of distractions. I try to remind myself that each time I remember and come back to the awareness of it all, I am undergoing incremental growth. Trees don’t give fruit over night, it is only something we can harvest once the growth is complete; the same goes for many of our personal growth journey’s.
Knowing that I’m overtaken by my mind and that I don’t always connect with the rest of my body, I’ve become more curious to learn more about the vessel in which I experience life through and to understand how my body feels, what it needs and how it senses itself through life. For me, it’s so important to find that connection with my body so that I can attain balance between mind, body and soul with much more ease. There is no perfection on this path, there is no right or wrong, there is just intention and trying.
What are you doing to nourish your body? Love it, for it is the vessel that you experience this life through.
Love Always,
M
