Who are we living for? Are we living for ourselves, for a higher power, for a loved one or loved ones? For others and societal norms?
What is driving our decisions? What is behind the choices that are made and the paths that are followed?
Who is in control? Who is leading the way? What role do you play in your life? Where do you start and where do you end?
What is it that you are hoping to get from this one precious life? Where do you want to arrive? What is your WHY and where did it come from?
Who inspires you? How do you navigate life’s challenges? What are you telling yourself? What are you running from?
What is your version of reality? How aware are you of the narratives that are in your head? What beliefs dictate your experiences? What perspectives are you holding onto? What are you using as your compass?
Where to from here? What now? What did you learn? What about now?
These are some questions that is worth pondering on. Your responses can be fluid and will most likely be so. As we evolve through our lives we are constantly changing and that is the beauty of it. We are not one predetermined and predefined versions of ourselves that are hacked into stone. We are an ever evolving Being with the ability to grow, expand and flourish. But all of this requires a level of Self-understanding that only comes through deep reflection and unpacking of what is really going on within our minds, hearts and bodies.
We have the opportunity to shape ourselves, to let go of what is weighing us down and to pick up new ways of Being that can enable us. We can heal the effects of our wounds and learn to live with them. Creating a new beginning by accepting what is and not fighting where it has led us. We are humans, the most conscious Beings and yet we live in complete ignorance, often going through life on auto-pilot, enacting the behaviours that have been programmed into us through our childhood. If we don’t stop and look inwards, we will never get to learn about who we are.
Give yourself the space, time and opportunity to learn about yourself. You may not like a lot of what you uncover, but you have the ability to recover from this. Creating a new sense of Self that is authentic to you and crafting how you want to go through this one precious life that is gifted to you.
Easier said than done, of course. But no effort goes without reward.
What intentions do you have for your life? What do you hope this journey will entail?
What is it that will make you feel whole again?
What can help you become the version of you that is at peace with all of you?
Allow yourself to explore you.
Love Always,
M
