Sunday Prayer – Bookmark

Here it is, the final day of the year. In many ways it’s just another day, but for me it is a symbol of finishing one chapter and pausing before the next one starts.

I am ending this year slightly exhausted, physically and mentally. It’s been one big year, so many changes, so many insights, so many veils coming off and so many things to process. Being a Sunday, I thought I would bring the year to a close with a Sunday prayer:

I pray that we all find peace and contentment within.

I pray that we don’t compare ourselves to others and that we honour our own unique journey.

I pray that we learn to become more resilient in the face of adversity and that we step into faith more often than we do fear.

I pray that we find the strength to let go of anything that is not worthy of us, and make space for all that we deserve.

I pray that the grief we experience doesn’t create a crater of void but rather a valley of flowers.

I pray that we deeply connect with ourselves, with others and with mother earth.

I pray that the greed, ego and divisive views of the world subside, so that we can bring an era of joy, peace and love.

I pray that any pain we have not yet healed, is washed away in our new chapters.

I pray that we practice gratitude and live a life of awe that is full of magic.

I pray that we can see beyond the superficial and material, so that we can experience the true purpose of life.

I pray that we feel fulfilled, enough and worthy no matter what comes our way.

I pray that our hearts feel lighter, our minds brighter and our bodies stronger.

I pray to become more myself and less what I have been conditioned to be.

I pray that I find the grace to let go and the strength to move on.

I pray that I learn the lessons life has for me, without having to sit the exams more than once.

I pray for beautiful relationships, good stories and laughter all around.

I pray for all those who have been faced with injustice and who are suffering pain that is beyond measure.

I pray that we all feel held, loved and connected.

Love Always,

M
